Hello. Please all answer and be patient.

Sorry to post a question. This isn't a repeat of an answered question. It's of a different nature. I recently got a tatto of a shamrock on my chest. I was very drunk but I had the common sense not To go to a cheap Place as the tattoo cost 400 dollars. I asked the artist who seemed very professional how she cleaned the needles and it seemed alright. I was just wondering has there been any reported cases of HIV transmitting via tattoo needles that haven't been cleaned properly just like how you can transmit it through drug needles shared by somone infected. Also a more general question, would you notice condom slippage? And do you need to check the condoms afterwards by filling it with water to see if it worked. Other websites say that is a good idea. Thanks.

Thanks mate. I'll stop posting. I cant tell you how much medhelp has assisted me. Nowadays anyone can post any inaccurate piece of information on a non medical website and surfing the Internet casually can turn into a mad parinoid nightmare of fear and loathing if you read something disturbing pertaining to your health. I feel much better and due to one of your suggestions i am seeking some help for anxiety. So truly. Thankyou.

hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal / anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child

if and when you have one of the above exposures...THEN you have placed yourself at risk.  until then...kindly move along.
