Worried and panicking

I was at a party over the weekend. It was a pool party. I might have been exposed. I did not have sex with anyone but i had a bruise on my finger that was about .5 mm just before I went into the pool and there was some blood. I was with a girl in the pool and my hand was on her vagina. She had her underwear on but at some time my hand was in her underwear for a short period of time. All of this was in the pool. I am very worried. How soon can I do an hiv test?

I am just worried that the cut on my hand might have come into contact with her fluids. As I said it was just before I got into the pool that it happened and there was some blood which I wiped off. I am paranoid because of that.
Thanks for the support

Sorry about your concer. Well for HIV to occur, there has to be a lot of blood involved. You'd be at a hospital getting treatment and not at a pool party that's for sure. Plus this lesion on your hand, needs to be fresh and openly bleeding and as I said before, you'd be seeking treatment if this was the case. HIV is not an easy virus to catch unless if you have unprotected vagina/anal intercourse, use IV drugs with people infected, blood transfusions with infected needles or you're born to someone whose HIV positive. So relax and put this behind you. You never had a risk of HIV here. For peace of mind, you could ask this girl politely about it and address your concerns.
With regards to a HIV test, you need to wait about 6-8 weeks for an antibody test. 95% of people test positive if they have acquired HIV infection so it pretty conclusive unless you're immunocompromised in some way that your body can't produce enough anti-bodies. There a 4th generation HIV test which can be done at 4 weeks post possible HIV exposure. But this is too expensive.
There isn't a possibility you acquired HIV in this incident. No testing is indicated. Please move on

Hiv can only be transmitted through :
-unprotected vaginal or/and anal penetration
-from mother to child
-by sharing drug works

Apparently you are not exposed.
Keep calm
