Hiv test accuracy after 28 days

Hello everyone,

Sorry for my english.

I have had unprotected sexual intercourses with a woman a month ago (vaginal penetration whithout a condom).

The next day I realized what I've had done and anxiety began to struck me.

About 3 weeks later I had a strong fever that lasted for a day and a couple of days later some oral thrush appeared (very white tongue in the back + pain) that lasted for a day too. I'm usually never sick. In the meantime I asked the girl to do an HIV test and she told me it was negative but I don't know if I can trust her.

Yesterday, ie 28 days after the exposure I went to do a HIV DUO test, it's negative.

Here are my concerns now:

1. How reliable is a HIV DUO test after 28 days?

2. How long after the first symptoms of infection can the AB be detected ?

3. Is it possible for the test to "miss" both of the agp24 and the AB ? I mean, the DUO test is meant to reveal one or another. I know the agp24 fades away when the AB are starting to go into action. Is there an overlap between these two steps ? I mean, if there is no agp24 there must be AB. No ? I hope I made myself clear....

Thank you very much ! :)
