ok, I fast clicked and wrongly selected the best answer as Hear's question. Sorry about that. Wouldn't want to add to the insecurities of others. Thank you for the responses. It eased my mind.
Nothing to add to what you wre told. You never had an exposure.
are there any other opinions about this situation here?
dont hijack someone's post with your questions...you have a current post on the forum
Apparently, the Determine HIV 1/2 antibody test (not the combo) manufactured by Abbott is a second generation test. I don't know about the unigold test.
Thank you for your prompt answer. I'd really hate to be the exception. I just can't get it out of my head that some blood from her "possible-but unconfirmed" mouth sores or otherwise bleeding gums (or whatever the hell my imagination can cook up) could have made it's way into those scrapes. As I sit here with a bunch of tabs opened that sound like "can I get it" , "could I have it", I realize the hole thing may have blown way way out of proportion.
For one, oral sex is not a risk, even without a condom, so you never had a risk.
If you HAD had a risk, your test would be conclusive. 3 months is when a person can obtaib a conclusive result, not 6 months.
Don't give this another though...no risk.
