Oral Sex Question

I will be to the point. I see other posts but I have to ask.  I had unprotected oral sex with a white female.  I also went down on her too.  I dont know her status.  Extreme guilt as proceeded as I am married.

I took a HIV DNA PCR test at 15 days which was negative.
I took test at 3 weeks, one of those rapid 10min tests which came negative

I think I am ok?  I was to take a test at 4 weeks for piece of mind?

To BradleyKevin bro im exactly the same boat as you.
kindly the likes of Teak and Lizzie as well as the others on this post have been re-assuring people like us (who had oral sex ) that this is not a way of contracting HIV.I think the thing that keeps us coming back and questioning their knowledge is the fact that the guilt/stupidity is getting to us.

I know its hard but the truth we have nothing to worry about in terms of HIV and we are dealing with guilt more than anything else.

Stay safe and everythin will work out in the end

Move on. You were told from the start you didn't have a risk.

Teak and Lizzie:
I assume we have to come to the realization that we are punishing ourselves for the act of cheating.  The risk of HIV is nill to giving/receiving oral sex in this hetro manner.
In my case of getting tested at 25 days, finger prick, negative....and also a HIV DNA PCR test at 15 days negative shows that there is nothign to worry about.

Are my calculations correct?

All experts on this forums says oral sex has no risk.... but I have read on CDC it says that the risk is low, if it is low it doesnt mean it cant happen.... I'm not sure what to believe. But it can be guilt... I spent 2 years trying to make my ex come back to me and I'm nearly to get it and this happens. I dont know if the guilt dont let me accept that Im not infected I dont know

GUILT is hard, maybe we are punishing our selves for what we did?

Why do we keep testing than?

Have you tested at all?  Everyone says oral sex is not an issue for HIV, so why do we worry?

The DNA PCR test is looking for the viral string and not the antibodies.

no risk

Most people develop enough antibodies to be detected as 6 weeks. A negative at this time is a good indicator... I'm in the same situation as you, but I just received oral sex.

Dr H and company say the 15 test is conclusisve but dont recomend it since it is highly sensitive test that can provide false positives.  I am confused.

You had no risk. Had you had a risk a PCR-DNA test is not a diagnostic test for HIV. The rapid test is a diagnostic test and is conclusive at 3 months post exposure. You were never at risk and did not need any testing for HIV.

But minus the guilt, these tests are conclusive scienctific evidence?

Guilt is all it is. You were never at risk of contracting HIV from oral sex.
