Do I Need to get HIV Pep

Last night I hooked up with a handsome man named TJ. I'm the bottom (receiving sex) and he's the top (giving sex). We had anal sex, and he would only do it without a condom, which we unwisely did. While we were talking last night after we first started sex, he told me he was very promiscuous and had sex almost every night without a condom, both receiving and giving with both men and women. I also found out he did drugs when he started smoking meth in my room but did not see any needle marks, and did not say if he did intravenous drugs. I also found out he has a criminal record and a warrant out for his arrest, and only gets tested for STD's when he's in jail, meaning he's had several partners from his last test until last night. So looking back on last night, I'm very worried about the possibility of him possibly exposing me to HIV and several other STD's and I'm wondering if I should go to the ER or Planned Parenthood to be seen by a doctor today or tomorrow and get HIV-Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).

PEP is dangerous in itself, but I don't know much about it. There is an std forum for std.

Maybe someone who knows more about PEP will advise you.
