Dentist visit stressful

Yesterday went to dentist he used ultrasonic scaler to clean some of my teeth. I am worried he did not change the device tip. I was first patient in the morning so the instrument was not used for at least 12 hrs before it was used in me. Also it's the unit that also spits water out when cleaning not sure how hollow it is.  What are my risk fit HIV or hep

This is in no way a risk for HIV.  HIV is transmitted through having unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles.  Those are the only risks for transmission.  HIV is inactivated by air and saliva. Cleaning teeth and the instruments used are not a risk for HIV transmission so you need not worry.  No risk.

Thank you for quick comment, my concern is while doing cleaning usually u bleed from gums. What if the device was used on another patient the day before and then used on me? The device might have blood from patient that might be infected? Does this change your assessment in any way?
I got your concern the first time and said it was no risk.  You will not get HIV from dental cleaning.  This is not a risk, bleeding gums or not. No testing required, no worried necessary.
