possible risks

Hello all, I had an encounter with an escort 17 days ago, I received unprotected oral and protected vaginal sex (Durex condom). The condom was intact while removing and when I took out, I saw some blood on the condom (action was for 30-40 sec), so stopped the action immediately and removed the condom. Then I received some unprotected oral and finally ejaculated outside her body (1-2 mins). On the first week, I had a little fever and sore throat which cleared up, 2nd week everything seems fine, 3rd week: is running now, no symptoms yet. Just feeling some muscle aches and twitches and weak (probably due to anxiety and stress). Am I at risk of HIV or some other STD's? I went  and did STD tests on 3rd day, everything was negative except HSV-1, value of 8.04. It would be great if you can kindly provide some suggestions.

It aches in the joints and in the muscle as well, this has been going on for more than 2.5 weeks now, 2-3 days after exposure.

Hi all,
Thanks very much for your replies. I guess I had very little to zero risk during this encounter, but today I saw a single pimple like rash on my chest and I think my fore-arm rashes are going away after using antibacterial soap. I am also having the body aches sometimes, especially in the joints. Do I need to worry still??

I am scared because of this fever, it came on the 14th day and now on the 18th day, the headache was moderate, so had to take a acetomophin tablet to reduce it.

Hi Teak and Lizzie Lou and RainLover,
The thing is that I have some mild rashes on my fore-arm as well, I have noticed them 1-1.5 weeks ago and they are still there, it does not itch. My doctor today said it looks like folliculitis due to bacterial infection. He also checked my lymph nodes at my throat, and armpits and he told it looks fine, no inflammations. I dont have a sore throat as well. But I am still scared to hell.

You may be confused but you don't have an HIV concern.

Hello, I had a little fever today, on the 18th day after exposure with a mild headache. I went to doctor and he said to relax and take aspirin in case of fever. Am confused.

No risk either because you have to remember that HIV transmission takes place inside the body not outside it.Trust me,you're safe.

thank you so much!! the only think is when I took out the condom, I rolled the condom out, I guess that would not bring the tip of my penis in contact with the blood??

No it can't be an issue because as long as the head of your penis is fully protected then there is no risk. There is no need for HIV testing at all.

should I still go ahead and test for HIV in 4-6 weeks? The condom was fully covering the penis head and the shaft. So, can that blood be an issue??

You never had an HIV risk because you used protection for the penetrative vaginal sex and oral sex is zero risk.
