Need a little guidance

Hi 8 days ago I had protected anal sex with a man who said he was D&D free I was the top  it lasted about a 1 min. Now I no it was safe sex but I did have a few questions

1.the condom I used I a ultra thin latex condom  is that still safe the condom did not fail from what I could see I took it of and it looked good

2 I had a little bit of a rash and my be a few little cuts on the shaft of my penis is that still safe

3 lube was used but I don't no if it was water based are oil based

4 is 8 days to soon for any symptoms I think my Lyme nodes in my grown  swollen but it could just be becuz I'm checking all the time

Anyway I do no a lot of what's going on in my head is stress and guilt I'm in a relationship and I feel like crap for what I did but it's my fault and no one to be mad at but myself and I'm trying to get past it and have no one that I can talk to about it so any help/advice would really help a lot

I would prefer the word 'Should' rather than 'Would'

Hi, you never had any exposure to the HIV virus. No one would waste their money for testing for every single protected exposure in their life.

1. Yes every latex is safe as long as it does not fail
2. It does not matter
3. No matter what kind of lube you used, important point is, condom should remain intact. Next time, better to use water based lubes
4. Yes, ARS (if one had a real risk situation, your's is not a risk situation), appear after 2-4 weeks of exposure and stay for another 1-2 weeks

You had protected sex and your protection did not fail, you are safe
