Hello,
oral sex is not considered as a risk of hiv transmission. Now about the brief penetration a test is needed in order to be aware of your status. You can take an hiv duo test 4 weeks after your last exposure and confirm the result if negative 3 months after this exposure or test directly at 3 months for a 100% conclusive result. Try to keep calm in the mean time
Thanks, I am aware of that, do you have any documented history of people becoming infected in a brief dipping episode?
I am sorry , I am aware of such statistics. I have to tell you though that there is a risk ( a low risk for a single brief penetration I believe) and you can test If you want to learn your status after the window period.
Thank you, I will of course test with a duo in 2 weeks time.
For a 100% conclusive result don't forget to confirm at 3 months with a simple hiv test.
Further ars.
Yesterday afternoon my temp wa 38 and I felt run down but then it went away until bed time when I had diarrhoea followed by severe rigors for 1hr followed by some hours of intense sweating anf fever up to 39.8.
Today I have had nausea (vomited twice) and diarrhoea every 40-60 minutes. I still have intermittent fever and chills for maybe 30 minutes each.
No sore throat or rash but I am aching, particularly in my legs and lower back.
Please don't go by the symptoms. It could be due to a lot of factors. The only way to know your status is by testing. Try to keep calm and wait for the proper time to test
Hard not to think of them though, I am not usually a feverish person so this concerns me
You can not do anything but test at the proper time. Hypothetical conversations would not lead you to any conclusion. Please try to keep calm
it is highly unlikely that you contracted hiv form what you are describing.
relax and test at the appropriate time.
According to what is known your risk would be SO close to zero but not close enough to not test.
Get a 6 week test and follow it with a 12 week for 100% certainty. You'll be negative for sure.
