Please help

Hello I had an exposure to hiv. I am a male had sex with a female escort. Condom broke on the tip part. I don't know how long I was exposed since I was drunk. When I pulled out I noticed the condom was leaking. After 5 days of exposure I went and had an RNA qualitative test and an antibody test. Both came back non reactive and after waiting for what I thought was 12 weeks, 84 days, I took a 3rd Gen test which came back non reactive. I then did a recount and came out to be only 82 days. My question is: Is my test result conclusive or do I have to retest? What would be a reason for a person to be non reactive at 82 days and reactive at 6 months mark? From what ive read it says people whose immune system is severely compromise. Please help and give me the knowledge, advice I need for closure.

thanks...

By saying test results I meant your 3rd generation test that was taken at 82nd  day.

Hi, your test results are conclusive. The window period for 3rd generation test is 90 days but generally they are conclusive after 6 weeks. Going forward do not drink and have sex with a unknown partner as people take risk when they are drunk or drugged. A single condom with no air trapped inside and enough lubrication will never break. Good luck.
