Rapid Finger ***** Test Question

Hi all,
I've been lurking around and decided to register.  Its a great site with TONS of information.  I have a question about my rapid HIV test results.  This was a finger prick test.
I have taken these tests in the past 3 times and all 3 previous tests were negative at the 12 week mark.  I accepted this to be a firm negative.
About 6 weeks ago I was with a girl again and decided to take another finger prick test and do a "Home Access" test. I called the Home Access number and the computer voice stated that they were not able to get a result from my blood sample.  When they went to transfer me to an operator, I got a pre recorded message that said they were closed due to weather.  OK, I can accept that, and maybe thats why they couldn't get a test result from my sample.  I'll clear that up with them later on.
But my main question is about my latest finger prick test.  As many of you know, these tests are easily accesable online to buy.  So thats where I got them.

I grabbed it from the mail, opened it up and took the test.

The control line lit up very bold.

The test line was actually quite faint, but somewhat there. This concerned me a little.
I left the test out and went back to work.

When I came home the very faint line had completely disappeared, but the control line was still nice and bold.
When taking the test I recall adding a little too much blood to the test well.  They asked for 1 drop, I added 3.  The strip was quit a bit more red then previous tests I took.

Could too much blood have made that very faint test line appear, then after some evap time it went away?

I consider myself to be low risk hetero with minimal partners.

Just looking for some feedback on that test strip and what you all might make of it.

Thanks.

Um, my question wasn't about a phobia.  It was about a test strip.  Thanks for your expertise.
Thought I was coming to a site that might actually have someone that could offer advice.  So far you have failed in your responses to give any clear advice on my situation.  But I see you are a resident expert here.
See ya.
