Swollen Lymph Nodes*

Hi, I wanted to ask a few things.  I noticed a little rash I had on my inner thighs Feb of 2009.  It gradually got bigger and a friend told me it was eczema.  This November, I come to find out that it was jock itch.  But, after getting creams to fix that region, shortly after I started to see swollen lymph nodes on those areas.  From Feb 09 to this Nov, I have itched it intensely at times when I couldnt help it and I don't know if that aggravated anything. I also lost my virginity in March to a female who I thought loved me and wanted to get married just like I did and we have had intercourse at least 12 times from March 10 to September 10.  I am scared because I read about swollen lymph nodes and I am hoping that I do not have HIV or any cancers.  The smaller ones went away and one has gotten really small and low but there is one on the right inner thigh that is protruding and it is not hard like a rock but it is not soft and tender either.  I am very scared.

You can test 3 months post exposure and obtain a conclusive test result.

I had sex with my exfiancee several times and it was freelanced but after she left me she also admitted she cheated with me a lot and had sex with more guys than I thought.  I recently got a test at a clinic and they said I do not have HIV but I am still waiting for the other results

your "symptoms" are not indicative of hiv infection.

if you had unprotected sex and do not know the status of your partner...then you should test 3 months post your last exposure.
