Hi - My question is regarding HIV transmission. Two weeks ago I had a sexual encounter with another male. There was no sexual intercourse, just oral sex, rimming, and other associated fourplay.
I know HIV can be transmitted through semen and precum etc. On some occasions during this encounter my partners penis was rubbing near and against my anus. The reason this worries me is because I have hemroids that always seem to bother me. They are like little cuts and sometimes bleed when using the washroom etc.
This has been an issue long before this sexual encounter, but when thinking about the scenario of his penis being around my anus concerns me.
He also put his finger in my anus as well.
I also remember having a slit on my upper lip from the cold weather. Like my lips were a little chapped.Seamen also got near my eye. Is the eye, a chapped lip, or an anal region with an abrasion likely for transmission even without having anal intercourse?
In all, I guess my question is...is it likely that I could have gotten HIV from this encounter? Either by way of the chapped/cut on my lips...or his penis rubbing near my anus which also had abrasions from hemroids?
I asked him when he was last tested and he said 3 months ago and was negative for HIV. He also said he doesn't participate in unprotected sex...but I don't know him very well and who knows...he could be lying.
Since that encounter (two weeks ago) I noticed a dull headache the last 3 days that I can't seem to shake, and a canker sore in my mouth. I read online these are both signs of HIV transmission in some cases.
I'm not very experienced sexually so the only information I get is from what I read online. I'm terrified that I now have HIV. I can't get tested yet because you are suppose to wait three months.
Does my sexual experience sound like a likely scenario for HIV transmission?
Thanks!
