What does PCR test of bloold result positive mean?

Dear Sirs/Madam:

I have some question below, hope to have your response soon.

If someone has PCR test of blood is positive. The questions are:

1. Does that result itself mean the blood has been infected by one or some of viral deseases eg HBV, HCV, HIV etc?

2. Does the result also indicate something about the infection of bacteria deseases eg Chlamyida, gonorrhoea?

3. How do we know the PCR positive result indicates exactly a certain desease? Does it need another test to verify the desease?

4. How long since the exposure we can get PCR test of blood? 2 weeks are enough for PCR test since there’s an exposure ?

Thank you

This forum is abotu risk assestment not to take the time to educate people on the various things about HIV.

You need to do some research on your own and find out this info. Too many people post here looking for risk assestment that there is not time to spend educating someone on questions like above. And this is not a place to debate either.

There's nothing related to my previous question posted before.

The questions above are for my information, my learning, and also for sharing with some others in my country (Vietnam) as we have been debating on this issues.

Hope to receive response from you and knowledgable people

Thanks
