Thanks Vance. Was hoping to hear from you. And thank you to all the others who have responded.
Let me clarify. When she cleaned me up she might have wiped the head of my penis with the same paper towel that she used to clean up her secretions.
Are your andwers still the same?
No. The antibody blood test for HIV are specific to a time frame.
Most people dont get tested annually so therefore they dont know they have it for many years later.
I know hpv and hiv are different but they both state it can take years to show up.
I thought it could take 10 years to show up? I don't know why ppl are saying after so and so days your clear. It took 10 years for hpv to show up for me. Sooo....
Im sure we can find someone that would disagree with you. (But praying we dont).
A little OCD with a name like paranoya? Who would have thought?
Serioulsy though...do not waste your time on HIV.
Wow, that is a very reassuring answer. You probably cut my anxiety in half..LOL I think im a little ocd and probably need about 160 more answers like yours.
I read your original post. You never had an exposure, (not even close) and did not need to test.
Sorry, I meant just an antibody ELISA test.
Just looking for other opinions. EWH? Vance? Anyone?
10 day hiv test was a routine std test. Urine and blood. Believe it was just ELISA. Test at 26 day was for a life insurance policy, almost definite that was ELISA test also.
Did i have a risk?
You were at no risk even if your partner was HIV positive. If your 26 day was a duo test then rest assured your ok.

Here is a link from the expert opinion on the 26 day test.
