how accurate are lab hiv/aids test?
quick synopsis..3 sexual encounters. 1 protected, 1 unprotected , years ago and 11 year monogamous relationship with negative testing. ( got preganant and tested obviously) took hiv test in ocotober 2016. how accurate is this test? can i trust my negative testing?
What was the unprotected encounter? HIV would show up within years btw and protected is zero risk.

a one time encounter with a male. i was separated at the time. he had a kid a few months later. that was july of 2015. i tested for hiv in oct 2016
is that lab test conclusive? it was 4th generation
28 days is conclusive for gen 4.
