i think what im really asking its how do they notice a few malfunctioning batches within the good ones, do they have enough signs and time to throw it away?
There are MANY, MANY HIV tests performed daily. I am not aware of the exact mechanisms or performance of the tests as I do not work in laboratories, but I assure you that test results given are very accurate and reliable. They would not be running tests and giving out results to people if there were "things that went ignored or unchecked." All of these tests are FDA approved. Literally thousands of people are screened for HIV. They do not have faulty tests.
so if something went ignored or unchecked?, there are multiple specific ways to signal that to the testers? Whats the specifics?
This is a very vague question, but HIV antibody tests are extremely accurate and reliable nowadays. With over a 99% accuracy rate, you can't get much more accurate with medical science. They are very, very good tests.
