ELISA test

Just found out that my blood was accepted by the lab at 7.00 in the morning and about 11.00 AM same day i got the results. Is it about right? for me it sounds too fast. someone knows the procedure?

it happened that i am familiar with the ELISA procedure... for me it takes up to 6 hours at best... here it was less than 3..... yep, negative of course. ositive would take a western blot which as i know may take days...

hiv tests are usually run in batches.  this is why it can "sometimes" take up to a week or two to get your results.

getting it done early really doesnt have anything to do with it...you were just lucky

No that sounds about right,your blood was excepted early so it makes sense then that you got your results back that quickly,don,t panic,your results are accurate.Hope it was negative for you.All the best.
