i understood...thanks ..:)
Cost, availability, ease of use, size of needle.
thanks nurse girl,
definitely i won't go to such parties rather if i knew it was kind of rave party i wouldn't have gone their..
but please can u explain me what u told me ....
People who shoot up don't use two-part syringes, they use insulin or tuberculin syringes, which do not come apart into a needle and a syringe, it's all one piece.
i mean why dont they or can't they use two part syringe...
i came to know as one of the guys told me after it poked me and when i asked them they just said sorry and they were highland didn't come to know what they are doing
and i am not making up stories please
thanks rain lover a lot...:)
Like I said--you had no HIV risk but I would test for the HCV.
i didn't come to know that those guys were taking drugs and why are you calling this is story and insulting me
do u guys mean i am making up stories ridiculous thinking...huh
please let me know if i am at risk or not as u are not helping me jogged and vance rather confusing me....!!!!!
I agree with Vance, this story makes no sense.
1. Why are you even in a place where people are shooting up?
2. If you knew they threw the needle why did you even walk near it?
because you were not injected with the syringe, you were just poked by the needle.
thanks
hcv means hepatitis c i guess sure i will get tested for hep c
but are u sure there is no risk of hiv from this needle accident as it just happened a minute after they used that needle and that needle was from a syringe and hollow??
and can u explain me why its not a risk??
It's not an HIV risk because HIV becomes inactive once exposed to air but I would test for the HCV.
The above statement told as though you yourself witnessed this.
After using the injection they just threw it next to the pool and after a minute or two approximately the needle poked me on my feet fortunately the needle was not attached to the plastic syringe or plunger when they threw it got separate from the injection.
Again, told from 1st person perspective.
People who shoot up don't use two-part syringes, they use insulin or tuberculin syringes, which do not come apart into a needle and a syringe, it's all one piece.
Time to move on....you don't have an HIV risk.
ALL the time we get people who come here and make up outrageous stories just to feed their need to have an anxiety fueled question answered. We see it every day. My only advice to you is to not attend parties where people are using and sharing IV drug works.
