THE CURRENT GUIDELINE...PER THE CDC, FDA, AND THE MANUFACTUERS OF THE TESTS...IS 3 MONTHS POST EXPOSURE FOR A CONCLUSIVE TEST RESULT.
PERIOD.
are you serious??? you're accusing an expert of this area IGNORANCE??? why??? prove your argument....so you can please everyone to believe in everything you say here...because it sounded so confident...meaning you are accusing him wrong....thanks....
why wont i answer you back? because i dont live on this forum 24/7. we are all volunteers.
re-read what i told you.
his symptoms have NOTHING to do with hiv. his test PROVES that he doesnt have hiv.
why did the doctor tell him to test later? IGNORANCE
why you don't answer back??? do you know why the doctor said so??? please help him...
So regardless of his symptoms and how the test was performed, it is still negative and conclusive??? I think this would help him feel better...
He also told me, that at His 6 months test, the DOCtor told him to be back 3 months after....why did the doctor do that when 3 months is conclusive and he had it at 6 months??
On the 8-month test however, the doctor (different) didn't told him to come back....However, the doctor didn't also asked whether when he had that exposure...
conclusive. he does not have hiv.
My friend had his unprotected anal sex with an unknown status guy. he was a healthy man, but after the moment 1 year ago..he bagan to feel weird symptoms that persists after 4-5 weeks of that moment...one symptom comes after the other...hey has test negative at 3-6-8 months all oral rapid test..he was asking me whether it is conclusive and reliable or not?? at the moment he is experiencing, SNEEZING for about a month already..SNEEZING a lot...and this was happened last year too...he had headaches, body pain, oral sores, etc.....is he safe already or need to be blood tested???
HIV IS NOT TRANSMITTED THROUGH ORAL SEX...REGARDLESSS OF HOW MANY "LINKS" YOU COPY AND PASTE.
ORAL SEX CARRIES NO RISK FROM HIV TRANSMISSION. PERIOD. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A VERIFIED CASE OF SOMEONE CONTRACTING HIV FROM ORAL SEX...NEVER.
What does John1976 mean?
Does he say that oral sex carries a risk for hiv?
i DON'T UNDERSTAND.
Please mention me.
thank you for you advice...i will do it with condoms for practice safer sex...thanks again...
hiv is transmitted through...
unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse
sharing iv drug works
mother to child
it is NOt transmitted through...
oral sex, kissing, rubbing, masterbation
until you are in a monogamous relationship where BOTH of you have tested...always use condoms for penetrative intercourse. sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME.
so does that mean i'm free of HIV infection and don't need to be tested??? i'm worried...i'm so uneducated about HIV transmission/.....what are the main routes of HIV transmission??? if i perform anal sex with condoms...on a receiving end...is that going to put me at risks??? because i want to try it...thanks...
Well you don't have a risk.. remember that you shouldn't go around giving oral sex, because you could be in danger of other STD's..however you don't have HIV so don't worry.
so does that mean even if i swallowed the little precum that i think I tasted it won't be transmitted through that route?? I have oral sex encounters with many people already, about 10-15 people in the past 3 months...do you think i need a test for that????
No, it cannot be transmitted regardless of how long the oral sex goes on.
