HIV acquired?
about 3 weeks ago i had my first bi-sexual encounter, i am a male. This was an oral encounter given and recieved.
a few days ago white dots appeared on my lips, have had excessive direhhea, flu like symptoms. I went to the er this morning, cbc tests were normal, no increase in any blood count. They adminsitered a fluid iv due to the dehydration.
my throat has been sore and glands appear to be swollen almost like strep and not i just noticed 6 timy red dots on the left leg near the groin.
i really need some advice here i am beyond scared at this point

Sorry for writing on this thread - I don't mean to hijack this thread. But I am in a not so similar situation. But I had this question in another thread I had started for my symptoms.
Why is everyone here so sure that oral sex cannot be a means of contracting HIV ? Can someone please point to some source. I am just plain worried too and want to be able to read up a credible source of how probable is it to get HIV due to oral sex. Looks like dehydration is a common symptom I am sharing with ctd1234.

i have everything that you are describing above, with the exception of the dots on legs...RIGHT NOW ! ! ! i have the flu.
get off the internet reading about hiv...no use adding fuel to the fire of your anxiety. once again...you were NEVER at risk.

this is beyond embarrassing and scary as hell.
also, they did perform an xray of my abs due to stomach pain and the diarhhea is black oily?

continue to work with a doctor if your symptoms persist. they are NOT related to hiv due to the fact that oral sex is not a means of contracting hiv.
