HIV & Broken condom

Hi, I am James, 22yo, from Aus . I had a protected vaginal sex with a sex worker in an asia country.
I didn't check the condom before I use and after the sex.
3 weeks later, I got sore throat. I doubt the sex worker re-use the condom or the condom was broken.

I heard the quality of the condom in asia county is always poor. Some of the new condoms also have some small  holes. If I used this kind of condom and done a vaginal sex, how much risk do I have?
BTW, if someone wears the condom with small hole, will the condom be broken during the vaginal sex?

Thanks for your help.

Thank you, Teak! So the sore throat is not related with HIV?
As I read a news that the Africa complain 25 millions conforms imported from China have quality problem. Some have small holes. I scared I used a broken condom. As my sex happened in Singapore.
I appreciate for your kind help!

Hi Teak, thank you for your reply. I totally agree with your opinion. But if i wear the condom which has some small holes before used (5-7 mins sex), do I have any risk and is it possible?

Had your condom failed, you would have known without a doubt.
