HELP! I bottomed with condom....should I be concerned?

Last night I bottomed for a guy whose status is unknown. We used a condom and he was pretty rough. This morning when I got home and I noticed that I had some bleeding down there. I'm extremely concerned about my health now! What should I do?

- I don't think the condom broke but I did not check very carefully. Should I ask him?

- Should I be concerned for a possible HIV transmission? Does this warrant a PEP?

- We did not do oral or anything else, just kissing and then I bottomed for him.

.....what should I do? I am really concerned! If I start PEP I need to start ASAP so feedback is appreciated.  I sincerely, sincerely appreciate it!

Thats what i mean, you saw that the condom was still intact therefore you were protected.I would consider this no risk because the penetrative sex was protected. If you insist on testing for this situation you will find that your test results will come back negative.

I have a stupid question.  Are the people who answered my posts doctors, or healthcare professionals?  So does the person who have a picture a medhelp expert in this subject?  I created this account just so I can ask the question above so I am completely new, and I am not saying that I question the validity of the answers; they are great answers.  I just curious.  Thanks!

@ getitright77 and really_worried_guy

I know my exposure is pretty so small that it is essentially non-existent.  I am just freaked out because it was with a stranger with unknown status and I have never done bottoming with a stranger.  It was the first time.  So that's why I am so freaked out.  I know that it is completely irrational and I cannot help it =( but your words give me strength, so thank you very much you guys!

You didnt have unprotected test, so you shouldn't not freak out. The chance you got HIV from your exposure is essential non existent.

If you have never had unprotected sex and you have never shared iv drug works then you can,t possibly think you have had an hiv risk can you.

I agree with Teak.  People lie will say just about anything to get you in bed.  So it is important to use a condom every single time.  I have never had unprotected sex and I probably never will have unprotected sex.  It is your life to talk about.  I am just freaked out right now. =(

Right Teak. Thats why I suggested that condoms must still be used,  even after people say that they are HIV negative.

The truth is, most people that have HIV don't know it and the other half won't tell you if they have it or not.

It's a zero risk exposure. However, before anal sex, ALWAYS ask the status of your partner. Its really important. Most people dont lie about their HIV status. If they tell you they are negative, you must still use condom. If you follow these two rules, you wouldnt have to worry about HIV.

I would have known if the condom failed?  Well, when he pulled out of me it was still attached to his penis, so it did not slip off.  Furthermore, when he pulled it off I saw the pouch did not spill semen everywhere it was intact.  I am so sorry to get this graphic but I want to be as clearly as I can be so you can help me with the best course of action.  There is no need for testing?  Why? Is this considered a very minimal risk?

I apologize but I do not hook up with people I do not know often, and therefore the crazy index is skyrocketing.  =(  I sincerely appreciate your comment!

You never had a risk because protection was used and it didn,t fail you,you would have known if it did,it would have been obvious. No need for testing and definately no need for nPEP.
