Abnormal ECG

I recently went to ER with chest pain and some heart pain. It felt as if the heart was beeping once in a while. Nurse ordered ECG and report stated abnormal ECG-Sinus Bradycardia with marked sinus arrythmia. Waited neevously for 4 hrs to see doctor(normal in ER) and when they called my name and entered the room the first thing doctor said was my heart is normal. He asked few questions and diagnosed as Dyspepsia. Gave me few antacids and that was it.
Is the abnormal ECG something to worry about as my vent rate was 47 bpm?

I personally would follow up with your general physician to see if you need further evaluation.  I'm on the side of safe is better than sorry.  So, call your regular doctor and make an appointment for as soon as you get in to discuss this.

thanks. I run 7k a day since April 2018. I have gone through my fitbit record and before I started running theresting heart rate(vent rate) was over 60. Since April 2018 it hovers around late 40’s to early 50’s. Doc advises it is actually good.
My only concern is why the ecg report satated abnormal ecg.

I had visited the ER again. Doc asked for chest xray and ecg. Both came out normal.

I think at this point, you shouldn't worry.  You've been rechecked and all is normal.  Are you feeling less anxious about it now?

HI THERE. THE ecg OFTEN SAYS ABNORMAL, BUT IN MANY CASES ITS NOT A SERIOUS OR CRITICAL ISSUE. GENERALLY THE FITTER PEOPLE ARE , THE MORE LIKELY THAT THE HEART RATE WILL BE IN THE 50'S.
if you are not happy, GO TO A CARDIOLOGIST IN YOUR AREA AND TAKE HIS ADVICE/ REASSURANCE HE WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO OFFER YOU.

thanks, the concern was the irregularly irregular heart beat. But the latest ECG done came out normal.

Sinus arrythmia is normal varient.  But it doesnt mean there isnt something wrong.  Are you feeling better or no improvement?

My GP thinks its to do with acid reflux and thinks heart is ok.

i suffer from acid refulx (GERD) and feels like heart is lighting like the light bulb intermittently...no pain but just annoying and uncomfortable

There are several other tests to run for answers.

visited cardiology specialist today. Checked my heart, read the ecg report and He says heart is just fine.
Onto Gastro Doctor appointment on Monday.
