Hi I had to get an ecg for my preop , minor surgery on hand, and the report says:
vent rate 58 bpm sinus bradycardia with sinus arrhythmia
PR interval 132 ms septal infarct, age undetemined
QRS duration 82ms abnormal ECG
QT/QTc 408/400 ms
P-R-T axes 15 -1 21
I will be 49 in 4 days and go to the pool every MWF and aqua jog for an hour due to a bone tumor on my femur resulting in a limb salvage prosthesis which makes me relatively sedentary. I do walk our dog 3 times a day but not very far and not very fast, I am in a lot of pain. My normal BP is about 102/76 and pulse 74 but lately my pulse can be as high as 90-100, and BP 130's/80's which is high for me.
My cholesterol is great! I weigh about 156 but 12 lbs of this is my prosthesis, I lost 25 lbs without trying , but have gained 15 of it back. I watch what I eat, and don't eat junk food or snack. I went from a size 12 to a size 8. My thyroid is wacky , I have Hashimotos but am not on meds for it, also my blood sugar was 66 and 62 on my labs for preop, this after eating breakfast and lunch.
Any thoughts about my ecg? I am going to question my pcp about this as I had spent the night in the ER/ward about 4 months ago wietc bst pains , paplitations and had CT of heart etc but they said I was A OK , now I am not sure. About 12 yrs ago I had what was thought to be a TIA or MS or my first seizure, I have partial simple complex seizures, but I have been having "heart" pain for awhile and my heart races. My gall bladder also has a ployp on it which can also apparently cause heart [palpatations?
Thanks for any thoughts,
Bonnie
