High cholesterol

My cholesterol was 328 up from 230 in one year.  My triglycerides are 97 and HDL 54.  My VLDL Calculation 19 and LDL 255.  My doctor was concerned and put me on 10mg of Crestor. That was a month ago and I am due for another blood work up in a few weeks.  Reccently (twice) my hearing got fuzzy and I got a little dizzy.  It cleared   up after a few hours.  Should I be concerned.  I feel like a walking heart or stroke candidate.  I am a 56 year old woman with parents who have had high cholesterol and a 26 year old niece who has also had high numbers. My weight is 153 and I am 5'5.  Not too overweight.  I walk and exercise a few times a week and eat predominately healthy.

yes very true, the only way that you can usually tell by looking, is the skin tone. When someone has very low blood pressure they tend to go pale in colour.

Don't forget that low blood pressure can also give you the same symptoms, if you pressure is under 90/60 you can experience the symptoms you describe as well.

What is your blood pressure like? If mine gets high I get the fuzzy hearing and dizziness you speak of.
