Mitral valve AML prolapse

I m suffering from heart pain from last 3 months my ECG And TMT test was ok but when i take my Echo test its shows Mitral valve AML prolapse and LV function  EF 57% my doctor told me not to worry and dont prescribe any medicine and told me to take lot of water , but i feel so much fatigue and suddenly pain in my heart and center of the chest , so plz help me what i will do , i m so much confused.

Hii I took echo test and its shows mitral valve- AML myxomatous, No prolapse and septae - IVS &  IAS INTACT.  Can any1 pls suggest. Is everything ok

It means you had a normal echo divus.. Some deterioration of the mitral valve but no prolapse and no mention of any sort of torrential regurgitation or anything.

Valve deterioration is normal with age, so if youre pretty young that may be interesting..

In terms of what they do for that i honestly have no clue.. Probably nothing.

MVP is a very common thing. As long as the valve is not leaking, due to the prolapse it is not a big deal. You had the echo and I assume that, if there was regurgitation, you would have mentioned that. Your EF is ok with 57%. As you now have done ECG, TMT and echo, I think you can safely rule out a real heart problem. Anxiety can also cause chest discomfort and surely can eat up a lot of your energy.

Hi, mitral valve prolapse can cause chest pain. If angina has been ruled out, then you don't have to worry about this pain. If severe pain killers are given to help with the pain. Consult your doctor for this. In the meantime for pain relief you can use OTC Tylenol (acetaminophen). Regards.
