An EKG output to dx valve insufficiency requires a stress test and or/an echo. As Momto3 states an EKG alone will not provide much info regarding valves.
Trivial leakage is considered medically insignificant and shouldn't provide any problems going forward. Prolapse of valves is the bellowing of the valves back into the upper chambers as lower chambers are filling...often the leaflets chords tethered (acts as a hinge) to heart walls and are elongated.
By "ecg" do you mean echocardiogram?
Mitral valve prolapse is quite common, but there are varying degrees of prolapse. Any idea how significant the prolapse is?
Trivial regurgitation is practically a normal finding. It is generally considered insignificant.
Does your doctor think you will need followup echos?
