PVC's and stomach or bowel distress

I have just started in the past 3 months with PVC's and finally went to the cardiologist this week and had ekg and echo and next week stress test. he says I have benign PVC's but they are keeping me up at night and driving me crazy. I feel so tired and have a loss of energy as well as bowel and stomach distress. They say I may even having GERD.. taking pills for that  but still feel awful. I also had lyme disease a year ago and was treated but now I am feeling achy and joint pain again as welll as these PVC's.. Any thoughts on this?  I am 54, active and healthy..  Thanks..

>>>>Thanks for your input but the best source for information is Medhelp's archives, and Heart Rhythm forum is not a "board" but a "forum" as is the Heart Disease forum...Medhelp.org. is the "board". Having said that the Heart Disease forum has been a successful ongoing platform for all heart issues for many years. There are members with years of participation, experience, and knowledge and after years of participation.  I learn something new every day from the members that participate.

I haven't visited the comparatively new Heart Rhythm forum, and apparently there are knowledgeable participation there as well.  To come on this forum to infer there are more helpful participants on the other forum is simply not true.

I went through something very similar back in jan-aug 2009.  It was awful.    Kept me up most nights.    I had gotten occasional PVCs before this but this was constant.  I went so far as to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy because i swore something was wrong with my GI tract.  Those turned out to be perfect, to my surprise.

I tried a few of the proton pump drugs like nexium, those made for a roller coaster ride.  I got off those quick.

Maalox helped the most.  I got the extra strength stuff.  No matter what I felt I took the max dose before bed and it helped a lot.

Pretty soon things started to settle down.

I also did a lot of lifestyle changes.  I don't drink anything but water anymore (well except for some beers here and there).  No coffee at all.    I take a magnesium / calcium supplement called slo mag.  I also reduced my stress level a lot.

I took a lot of steps, it has helped.  Hang in there, just keep trying everything you can.  Medhelp has a board called Heart Rhythm that deals with things like PVC issues.  DO some searches over there, you will find a wealth of information.
