hp with slow pulse

I am 49 years old  and I have had high blood pressure for 10 years and I'm on medicine but for the last couple of months my bp has been unstable hi then low but my pulse has remained low no higher than 50's now it is 37. What could this be?

I think you need to speak to a cardiologist and have some tests. If you are on beta blockers which can slow your heart rate, and your heart has now decided to run even
slower, then something is obviously progressing. High blood pressure usually leads to
coronary heart disease and so I think you should have some tests. 37 is not a  dangerous level but it is very much worth investigating.
