Hello...
It should be reassuring to you that all your tests...ecg,echo, bp etc.were all normal.
When you say that you are having fears of dying from a heart attack, lack of sleep palpitations...these feelings are typical of anxiety. It could also be from increased stress in your life. As I mentioned, your testing has proved that your heart is in good shape.
A peculiar type of chest wall pain occurs from costochondritis, inflammation at one of the costochondral junctions, which is also known as Tietze’s syndrome, or of the costosternal bridges that form the cartilaginous shield of the anterior rib cage. The discomfort is often described as dull with a gnawing aching quality to it. The key to feeling relief from this is rest of that particular muscle, NSAID's (non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen)
I hope that you are feeling better soon:)
The Stress in my Life is caused by my Worrys of having a Heart Attack because of the Pains in my Chest. But as my Results have come back fine can I put my Worrys to one Side relax and get back to my Normal Life?
I also tend to find when I get out of the Bath I start to shiver and shake inside and get a bit breathless and dizzy,is this normal?
Christmas is coming up,and its not even on my mind because of my Symptoms which are making me feel unwell, and the constant fear of going to Die.
Your Previous Message has helped me alot Brooke_38.
I was just wondering if anyone who is Reading this has ever had a Pulled Chest Muscle? Because I want to know ifanyone else has ever had the same Symptoms as me? Dizzyness,Breathlessness,Tired most of the Day,feeling like your not with your Body,Pains in the Chest on and off.
I have looked on The Internet for information but cannot find any Information about Chest Wall Muscle Pains,or the Symptoms.
Thank you.
I had what I was told was "chest wall pain" off and on for a few years. It didn't bear much resemblence to what you are describing. It was a pain under the left breast-bone that came and went, sometimes dull, sometimes acute, and especially bad if I breathed in deeply. I didn't have any of the other symptoms you describe - nothing other than pain.
Everyone is different, so it's possible you do have chest wall pain, but I think - with debilitating symptoms such as you describe - that you should go back to your doctor soon for further examination.
I am going to see a Heart Specialist on January 15th,what can I expect from seeing him?
What I find strange is all My Results came back fine Weeks ago,but as I sit here now I feel very breathless and my Heart feels like its beating fast when its not.
It sounds like anxiety to me.. I have the same exact thing fear of dying every single day and the fear of having a heart attack everyday when you feel this way stop and breath slowly breath in through your nose for 4 seconds then hold it for 2 sec then breath out your mouth for 4 and repeat this just keep telling yourself its just anxiety it's all in my head.. And talk a walk when you feel that way it helps alot
