What is normal recovery for radio ablation for afib?

I have recently (one month ago) had an ablation done on my right atrium for treatment of afib.  So far I believe the procedure was successful however, I;m experiencing some tachycardia.  I have not experienced any afib since the procedure and I was wondering if the tach is a normal post ablation occurrence.

Dear Greg: I had an ablation for afib on july 19, 2010 and it has been successful so far... its great.  about a month after I had the ablation, I had a day or two that I had  a good many pvcs.... but they went away and have not returned.  They told me it would take 3 months for my heart to heal.. Personally I think it was more like 4-5 before it started feeling totally normal... It wasnt to noticeable.. but for a while it was uncomfortable to lay on my stomach or right side.. just enough discomfort to notice.. thats all... but every thing feels totally normal now ... and no pvcs no afib.. just a nice regular heart rate.. hope this helps ...Claytex

Yes, I did have a few breakthroughs after a couple of my ablations... frankly you beat up your heart during the procedure and it takes a bit of time to heal...usually about three - six months.  If it is unbearable, call your doc.
