Yes, I have the small pills, 25mg, and only prescribed as-needed since its a low dose. When I get a run of SVTs and they make me crazy, I take one. That's all my cardiologist says will work, otherwise he insists they are benign.
Yeah right.
Anyway that's why I'm asking about the folk remedies. There has to be something that will work!
Anyone else please have any remedies??
I've been taking magnesium oxide which "seems" to be helping. I still get my ectopics and brief tachy times but they seem fewer. Or maybe I'm just eating better food, getting more rest and handling my stress better. Those are such difficult things to measure.
Did your doctor prescribe Atenolol as needed and not every day? I take Metoprolol every day for PVC's but do not feel as I need it every day. I would rather take it as needed. If this is working for you I think I'll give my cardiologist a call.
I had 2 bottles of ice cold water pre going to sleep, helps some nights with the palps, on other it reduces how severe it is. Im going to save this thread and see what people say about remedy treatments. Very interested.
