Have irregular heartbeat at mo, heard xenical bad for heart, is this true?
Started xenical as overweight and have reflux disease which this would help but have heard that xenical can cause heart and liver issues.
Have had fast, slow and irregular pulse 3 months now, can't wait for cardio and 48hr tape appointment.Terrified.
Long story but had thought a new antidepressant had caused the pulse probs, have weaned off and still bad and have read that xenical can cause heart probs.
Is this true?

While many of us on the community may benefit from a little weight loss, I doubt many have tried xenical... that said, looking up the side effects I couldn't find anything related it to heart rhythm problems.

Many people will eat more than say the recommended 25% fat (can't remember the exact amount) and Xenical (orlistat) will "remove" the extra fat via loose stools; this in turn can sometimes cause problems because of this - in the form of dehydration - sound about right and familiar? we all know here what dehydration does - dig deep and research this =)
