heart flutter

Hi,
I hope someone out there can put my mind at rest. For the past three wks now I’ve been having heart flutters they only last a few seconds. But I have also noticed the only way to describe it is like a very slight ache in my left arm. Its not there all the time I’ve not had a flutter for two days now but still getting that ache in my arm. I would be grateful for any help or advice on this matter
                    Thanks mandy

Yes, two teenage daughters would make you stressed!!!! Good Luck!  I'm sure you will be fine!  Stress can cause so many symptoms in our bodies!  We have to try and deal with it, but easier said than done.

I, too have heart flutters.  I woke up one night and my heart was fluttering and beating fast.  It only lasted a few minutes, but scared me.  I went to the ER and they hooked me up to a monitor, ekg, eco-cardiogram, blood work and all was negative.  I made an appointment with a cardiologist 3 weeks ago and he thinks I may have a mitral valve prolapse, but decided I should wear a monitor for two weeks.  I took it off on Monday and awaiting the results.  I also had more bloodwork done too.  I have stopped drinking caffeine and chocolate, but still have the flutters.  It is most annoying and scarey at times.  I get a ache in my arm also, but the doctor didn't think it was anything.  Are you under any stress?  That, too, may cause the flutter.  If it doesn't go away, I suggest you make an appointment with a cardiologist.  Keep me posted and good luck!
