Hepatomegaly: Reversible? Treatable?

I was diagnosed Hep B about 2 years ago and I have been doing LFT and HBV DNA since then.
I started having pains in my right abdominal region a little over a year ago, which has been a source of worry for me. I do USS almost every 2 months and I have done like 15 since then, all showing normal liver size. My latest one(done 2 days ago) is however reported HEPATOMEGALY - LIVER 16.6 CM. All teh ones I ahd done in teh past up to 2 months ago have been showing normal liver size, usually between 13.8 to 15.1.

Now, the report says Enlarged Liver. My viral load is 992 IU/ml and ALT 22.

What do I do now? Is this enlarged liver reversible? Is it treatable? How can I stop it from growing to Cirrhosis or HCC?

Please I need informed advice.

In simple words if your husband and kid got immunity through vaccine or naturally, they can stay uninfected even though you are infectious!!

hbsag mean reactive and you are infected as long as hbsag stys reactive.in order to save the baby from cronic hbv you must take tenofovir if hbvdna is detactable and baby vaccinated at birth

your husband must check immnity antibodies hbsab, if it is negative he must take vaccine as soon as poss

enlargment is not so bad when liver gets to cirrhosis it can t enlarge anymore......as i said before it is useless to know the liver damage both US or liver enlargment, only fibroscan can tell

hepatitistechnologies products can resolve this without use of antivirals, of course lso making hbvdna undetactable will resolve inflammation by the years but it is a slower process while use of antioxidants and hepatitistechnologies while hbvdna und or low repairs the liver much faster

Stef ..

How much common size of liver .. I checked my ltest ultrasound in last April it was 13.2 cm .. Is that ok?
Also it was stated in the radiology report that: No cholelithiasis or duct dilatation is seen.
... The liver shows no suspicious focal mass ..

Does the above mean every thing is ok?

Thank for your valuable advises ..

hepatitistechnologies would be the best for you

i'd skip biopsy and just treat liver damage

i'd skip antivirals too since just 900iu/ml hbvdna and almost normal alt

Thanks as usual Stef.
Fibroscan is not available in Nigeria here. Will Biopsy be useful? Can it tell me what the damage is? If it is Fibrosis, is it permanently treatable? If it is inflammation but no fibrosis, what is the implication/treatment for that?

Hepatomegaly has very little meaning, it is just enlarged liver due to fibrosis or inflammation.US is so poor that cannot say anything about the damage, the enlargment can even be felt by the hands.....

once you will have a fibroscan it will be possible to say what it is

it is of course reversebile, check hepatitistechnologies products
