My vit d3 level 4.97(Low)

Hi All,

I got my Vit d3(25 - HYDROXYVITAMIN D) level today and it's 4.97(Low). But report says Deficiency:< 20.0 ,Insufficiency: 20.0 -  100.0.

Please suggest me what I can take to improve my Vitd level?

I have given for IPTH test, I will be getting result in 3 days. Please help. I take lot of dairy products. That's why my Vit D is so less or what might be the problem? Thanks.

15.2nmol/l is 6ng/ml,

only for healthy
norml range 30-100ng/ml, this is for calcium kinetics
range for boosting immune system 80-100ng/ml

less than 10ng/ml extremely deficient and serious disease can develop from this deficiency

using tdf is also necessary to have good vit d levels and supplement, such low vit d level alone makes liver fibrosis, kidneys function 50% lower, osetoporosis/bone loss and immune system malfunction

you are 6ng/ml, look for an expert doctor on vit d, italian guidelines require 300.000iu-1.000.000iu once and then 2000 to 5000iu daily to keep levels
