Professional interpretation

Hep B screening prior to working overseas -

HBsAg  neg;  HBsAb  pos;  HbcAb pos;   anti-HAV Total  neg;
anti-HCV   neg

if the country is trying to identify and block infectious diseases, is this considered by medical professionals to be infectious results? I'm trying to avoid going over just to be sent right back home... I thought the HBsAg=neg was good news, but I need the medical perspective.

Thank You!

there are no doctors in this part of medhelp community but your situation is pretty clear for most of us, you are complitely immune to hbv due to hbv infection (you already had hbv and cleared it, it has no synthoms so you didn t notice)

you didn t have hepatitis A, hav so it is better that you take vaccine for this one

you didn t have hcv but there is no vaccine for this and most who get it don t clear it, just be careful with blood or cuts from other people as per hiv.HCV trsmission is not easy so protected sex will avoid infection with this one
