keep in mind, most young ones have no damage, but an US cant detect, monitor and stage fibrosis and liver damage, and your doc should be aware of this
US can only see very advanced cirrhosis by development of nodules in the liver, but this stage is too advanced and very difficult to regress

ultrasound is useless, it can t see liver damage, only fibroscan can but some countires dont have it and can t check liver damage other than by a biopsy.i had my first biopsy at 19yo and there was no liver damage

from the posts we see that most of doctors from countires with no fibroscan are so ignorant to think that US can detect liver damage, tell this to your doc next time you see him

ast/alt can detect liver damage

you need healthy diet as for any human which must have very low meat and fats, mostly white meat, lots of vegetables/fruit and fish

all fresh unprocessed food as much as possible, no junk food

these are general rules to be healthy in life and have a strong immune system

as hbv carrier just check that your vit d 25oh is higher than 50ng/ml and monitor liver by fibroscan every 6 months, at 22yo it is highly unlikly to hav liver dmage

check older posts for diets, put fatty liver in search box.the best foods are black rice, bluberries, coofee, bifidus yogurt, curcumin and others
