I'm receiving treatment (DRUG LIV 52)

Has anyone been treated with this drug before and how effective is it?

is it normal to feel sharp pains on the right side of your chest just below your rip cage?

is it advisable to use cholestrol free oils like 100% virging olive oil for cooking when u have this condition

Im pretty scared

Yes sidda treatmennt is avaliable in india......they have extracted a medicine from a plant called 'Phyllanthus amarus'....i am just started taking that tablet (lovanthin fort) its purely from plants there is no side effects...i dont whether it is avaliable out side india

sorry you're sick of taking "meds" every day but that seems to be the case for almost everyone here..

like SteveNY said, there isnt a specific diet that you can go on .. just eat healthy, avoid smokes and alcohol, fatty food, and things that cause your liver to have an extra load of work.

do you have your HepB profile ? Liver panel ?

seems ok

i'm in my 7th month of treatment

i intend to take another test by the end of the week to see if there has been any improvement

just tired of taking drugs on a daily basis

my dr. also gave me some supplements

1.spirulina

2.immune assist

--As Steven stated, LIV 52 is a common medication for HBV.  What is it?  Where did you get it?  Who prescribed it to you?  Are you in USA?

First time reading "DRUG LIV 52".  It's not "standard treatment" around my circles since I never heard about it.  

Are you part of a study?

How are your labs?  Being "diagnosed of Hepatitis B" don't tell us much without labs and disease status.

And if you have sharp pain, talk to your doctor.  In general, it's wuite common for those with HepB to report discomfort in the area where the liver is situated.
