Based on your limited information, I assume you are now in the Immune Control Phase. Three things can happen in the future:
1. You will remain in the inactive phase: HbeAg negative, hbvdna 20,000 iu/ml, and ALT > Upper Limit Normal. In this phase, you should start treatment.
What will happen depend on your own immune system, the HBV genotype, and their host/disease interactions. Of course, a cure may suddenly appear in the near future.
Just my opinion.
It seems you may be in the Immune Control (Inactive) phase with HBeAg negative and hbvdna < 2,000 iu/ml. Treatment is not necessary at the moment, but you should regularly check your liver functions(ALT etc) and hbvdna, at least once a year. See a liver specialist, no smoking or drinking, and a healthy lifestyle.
Sorry for this bad news.what about hbc DNA level?
