Help needed!

Guys I am very desperate with my liver side pain specially after the intake of food & all this starts after starting my 0.5mg of entecavir thought will be ok with the treatment  but it is  getting worse even after i start taking 10K of vitamin D . Is there any one in here the same as my situation & what did you do to get rid of the pain? Appreciate!

I am not a doctor but does it happen when you eat fat?  Have you had your gallbladder checked out?  It is right there with the liver and can cause awful pain.  Good luck, Dee

there is a place in la called the liver institute they give free fibroscan. It's related to AHF (org for hiv and other stds). might as well get it there. I think there should be some free clinics like these in sf. You shouldn't be depended on your doc to get you this test... It's crazy how people here don't have access to basic tests like ultrasound and fibroscan and need to chase their doctors to get it done.

I started getting mild pain at liver side after 15 days to 1 months of started taking D3 Vitamin and now I don't feel pain. Can I assume that Vit d3 helped me to make my immune system to fight against HBV although I had undetected viral load?

remember to take etv 4hrs away from food, 2hrs before and 2hrs after

liver never hurts that s just a small pain in the liver most of us has felt especially when clearing the virus, it ll go away as you clear hbvdna and keep good vit d levels
it is probably inflammation tht makes pressure on other organs, it means nothing and it is good when clearing hbvdna because it means there s some aid of immune system, as long as fibroscan is not in the cirrhosis range it is all ok

when you have cirrhosis you feel nothing and liver instead of enalerging it shrinks

the oainhas nothing to do with the liver diseases as long as you are on antivirals and vit d, give it 6-10 months and it ll go

if it is another organ it is all another story but i think  dr should be able to see if it is liver or other diseases

@flynsky that's is scarring me nowadays may be it is getting more Cirrhotic & brining a pain now coz it has been almost 10 month since my last fibroscan.

i dont think it is your liver  maybe your colon!!!!!
i think liver hurt when cirrhoses start and it is not your case
try to see your familly doc

Maybe get a second opinion from another doctor. Ultra sound and fibro scan. Find out for sure your livers status

I started feeling the pain after started taking Vit D3 and started doing excercize. I started taking more fluids and stopped doing excercise. I don't have that pain now. I am not taking any treatment. I thought that as Vit D3 is doing good to my body so I am finding response for it. It happened after few days after started taking Vit D3 and now it's stopped. I didn't stop taking Vit D3. I am not sure if this was the reason, but it's my experience!

When there is always a pain does it mean the liver is getting damaged or my fibrosis is getting worse coz i can't get a help even from my Dr. Every time I message her about my pain she recommends to take the Omeparazol.
