Did you try milk thistle? It is not expensive. How expensive is your treatment and where do you live.
CH
Your test reports are not clear out here. What was your baseline viral load and ALT status? HBeAg positive?
I'm not even sure if you had a good case to begin treatment!
Post all your lab info properly, with the respective units, dates, etc.
Depending on which country you are in, maybe Roche will help you with the meds.
If not, keep a close eye on your viral load (monitor at least once a month for the first 6 months) and on your ALT.
If you see any of these jumping up, you need to begin alternative anti-virals immediately. Tablets are far cheaper than pegasys.
This situation that you are in now, with not enough money to pay for meds... is this a temporary situation? Are your fortunes likely to increase within the next year or so? If so, you might even want to switch to Lamivudine, which is far cheaper than other meds.
Anyway, explain all this to your doc. He may be aware of good options that people of your country have.
It is sad that these medicines are so expensive. Try to contact the drug companies and see if they can assist you.
Since you started treatment and stopped, you need to get tested on a regular basis (once in 6 months). This is the only way to see if this is getting worse or not. For now have a liver friendly life style (avoid alcohol and follow healthy diet)..
