Dont worry too much, I would say but at the same time dont ignore it too. keep monitoring it every 3/6 months by HBVDNA & ALTs. Get Ultrasound Scan done for extra peace of mind. Get his wife vaccinated. In South Asia, hep B is as high as 10% but genrrally people dont know about this and only came to know accidently.

HBV can be very dangerous and cant be nothing at the same time. it is infectious so be careful and get vaccinated and healthy life style and monitoring is the way forward as long as it is undetectable and ALT within normal range as Stefano said.

Getting job/service is no issue with Hep B at all in your own country but working in Middle East could be difficult as they do not allow HbsAg pos to come and work there.

There are people who are Hep B positive since birth or for decades and still ok. Some are taking anti Virals, few have cleared the virus, rest living with it and just monitoring.

People like Cajim on this forum want to take up the Virus in their own way by changed life style and do not support anti virals which have lots of side effetcs with it and resistance. Very importantly NOT ALL with HBV need traetment.

We have very knowledgeable fellows on this forum and by sahring we try to improve our knowledge of HBV. keep reading and eductae yourself.

no, s/co has no scale and there are diluitions so it is not possible to say what 3249 or 2640 are...even 10s/co might be more than 3249 since these are reagen dilutions and do not reflect hbsag quantity

you have to make hbsag quantification in iu/ml and only when antigen gets to 1000-1500iu/ml there might be a meaning of stronger immmune response but as long as hbsag is postive virus is still there making damage

is going better or not
hbv is very complicated, better is hbvdna less than 1iu/ml, alt<30 and hbsag negative since you cannot measure hbsag in your country just check hbvdna and alt

also consider that he will always be infectious by blood for decades or life even if clear the virus so for 100% security baby and wife must be vaccinated whatever happens

there is no drug to make hbsag negative and especially not homeopatic, dont waste money....
as lons ag hbvdna is less than 1iu/ml and alt<30 there is no liver damage so he actually has nothing to cure or nothing different from other healthy people, just a little higher cancer risk but that's in the order of very small numbers like 1% risk

well it is better to be very very careful then, especially do not share rasors etc., if hbvdna is less than 1iu/ml only blood is cotagious and saliva and semen should have no hbv

his last results are worst and this might be normal fluctuation, omeopatic is water and if really active worsen situation

in last test hbsag antigene increaed, alt increased, hbvdna test useless too old and no sensitivity

remake test with hbvdna with detection limit at 1-10iu/ml (1iu/ml=5.8copies/ml), copies/ml is not used anymore as unit

he is probably an iactive carrier so he just needes to monitor and live healthy life and diet, no alcool, after we know hbvdna result we can understand if disease is inactive

Just monitor every 3/6 months. get his wife vaccinated. Hep B is a very slow disease. dont worry too much. good thing  is he is already HBeAG neg at very young age and viral load is low aswell. ALT are normal which is good. Hoeopathic is useless and complete waste of money. Not every patient need treatment in Hep B.

Educte yourself by reding more on thsi forum and on information page whcih is very informative and remove many false beliefs.
