javi just ask folks like rocker who had previously failed treatment but now are SVR thanks to the Boce........he'll tell you just how great a med it is.  I hope you find a trial.  It seems miraculous what these drugs can do.

In December, at my last appointment with my hepatologist, she felt that VX-950/Telaprevir would be shelf-available sometime in 2011. Schering-Plough’s version of a protease inhibitor should be right behind; it’s known now as ‘Boceprevir’. These are purportedly similar in action and will be used in conjunction with interferon and ribavirin.

It's now known as Teleprivir.   Not yet approved, but demonstrated effective to a large extent in continuing trials.
