just for curiosity

Since last year I have been experiencing a condition of memorizing very late memories sudenly and with out any desire or things that could triger my mind. I sometimed dreams very unusual and/or unnatural dreams.....like some scientific films, which is not also related to any of my daily activities. I used to be active and eager to know new things and good in my study....but now I am becomming some how lazy and lose my petient soon and could not study hard. Are all these related to the the virus? How can I bring back my strenght? I think I could not finish my PhD study.

hopping to hear from you soon,

Thanks a lot for all your suggestion and advices you have been providing me.

Bud!

I think you're hitting a wall in your doctoral studies. You would not be the first to get 'stuck'.

Laziness and impatience are so common that I wouldn't dwell on attributing it to your virus.

You should monitor your liver health closely, however, especially if you decide to wait to treat.

Good luck on persevering with your degree. Keep on truckin'.

I should have gone on for the PHD but quit with the MS because I was just burned out and wanted to go to a 9-5 life instead of an always-on student's life.  Part of your reaction may be burn-out but if your illness is affecting you, just the added fatigue will make it harder to concentrate.

If you are in treatment, that's a whole nother story.  The meds make it harder to concentrate & make you exhausted.  Antidepressants make very vivid dreams that you wouldn't normally encounter.  Stay in your program if you can bear to.  It's harder to go back later and finish.  You don't have to be valedictorian, you just have to satisfy your committee.
