silly question

has anyone during treatment had a NON alchohol beer or glass of NON alcohol wine. Having a couple over for dinner and would like to have a glass of "pretend" wine or a beer. Minimal amount of alcohol but still.................wanted to participate BUT  not  mess up treatment or contribute to any damage to my precious liver. Just a silly question

Oh, these threads have a way of digressing all over the place, getting way off base.
Often the poster who wants a straight answer lands up frustrated.
Even when people try to keep it on target,  it seems to happen no matter what.

Try mentioning 'ginger' and see what happens. (groan)

Remember, just 4 more weeks!

guess the point was missed. WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT DRINKING! I was asking about an non alcohol beer ! Guess I'm sorry to have even brought it up. I have never heard of a dr. telling you not to use mouth wash because of the alcohol, thats a bit over the edge. I used to work as a pharmacy tech and I no  that people on anitbuse could not use mouthwash or perfume because of the alcohol but thats a whole different story. wow this is like that telephone game from days of old. You say one thing and it turns out being something else. Oh well. have a great night folks...........

I have your answer~neither, it's simply the luck of the draw.

By that I mean, it's all very individual. Why does my friend have hep C and no liver damage while it took my liver out?

We keep searching for answers, what to do to improve our chances  concerning this virus when the virus itself is so variable.

Anyway, that's my POV.

what I think is do whats right for you. Reduce if you have to and stop if Dr. tells you to and stay way from the well. I'm not an overly sensitive person even with all of this poison in my blood but your statement sounded a bit condescending. Just saying. No hard feelings. Just didnt get it. Didnt realize the question had been asked before. After all I am a newby :(
