I can smell the Riba Rage through my monitor. Calm down, his question wasn’t an attack on you.
Chill out, no not a trick question and wasn't really directed to you. Just curious as i have seen this come up many times here.... So what do you think?
Is this a trick question??? Was NOT talking about having a rum and coke! And yes I did reduce riba to AVOID procrit and NO I would NOT stop treatment early unless it was life threating and MY DR. told me to stop. So is that the right answer???????????? A little confused with your question. Thinking it was a bit of a put down because of the question I asked. If I am wrong then I stand corrected.
What has the most chance of jeopardizing treatment, a drink or reducing and or stopping treatment early?

Alcohol is an important cofactor in the progression of HCV disease to cirrhosis and HCC (43) . Thus, patients with hepatitis C should limit or abstain from alcohol consumption. Limited data suggest that heavy alcohol consumption of >80 g/day (approximately eight drinks or more per day) reduces HCV treatment response. It is unknown whether consuming less alcohol compromises HCV treatmediscontinuation rates; however, in those who completed HCV therapy, SVR was similar in drinkers and nondrinkers (45) . Thus, alcohol users should not be excluded from antiviral therapy but treatment adherence should be stressed (9) .nt response (44) . In patients with recent alcohol consumption, there were higher treatment

Even in trials moderate alcohol seems to have no effect on treatment, the problem comes from adherence to treatment.
I didn't like O'Doul's very much. Both Beck's and St. Pauli Girl (I think!) made alcohol free beers that I liked a little better.
