Bilateral Inguinal Hernia Post Op

Had Bilateral inguinal hernia surgery 2.5 weeks ago.  The right side of my groin is has been numb since I came home from hospital.  Like the far right side near the crease of thigh going down a few inches.  Also accompanied with burning sensation.  Will this resolve over time?  Any thoughts are greatly appreciated
